This is a huge issue in HS, one that impacted my family severely. Kids participate in this willingly, not realizing that there are serious legal penalties that can follow you for the rest of your life. The short term penalties are not fun either. 18 + months of court/counseling and a lot of money.
I think there needs to be education regarding sexting and the consiquences in late middle school and high school orientations.
